TRIM has successfully launched Pakistan's first social network SOSHO (sosho.pk) having all the important features for socialisation, entertainment, information and business.

Dr. Asad Ali Shah MD TRIM, who has done his PhD from Canada, launched Sosho during a one-day training workshop on social media organised for working journalists at the National Press Club here by Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ).

This network has all the features for socialisation, entertainment, information and business including chat, stories, pictures, videos, movies, games, private and public groups, brand or individual pages, selling and advertising products & services, blogs, jobs, and appeals for funding and much more.

“This social media platform will not allow any content against any religion, anti-state, and immoral,” said Dr Shah. The international social media platforms are dissaminating contents against Islam and without taking care of the Eastern social norms and values, he said.

“We will make sure that everything on this platform follows the cultural norms and values of Pakistani society and there will be no place for the blasphemous or anti-Pakistan contents, hate speech, or nudity on this network,” he assured.

Sosho is currently available on the website www.sosho.pk and in couple of weeks, its apps will also be launched. The registered users will be able to use the same login id in the apps, said Dr Shah.
